Amy is a Colorado native, born and raised in the Boulder County area. She graduated from Centaurus High School, and went to Fort Lewis College in Durango on a fastpitch softball scholarship as a starting pitcher. She graduated in 1995 with a Major in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology. Amy's previous experience includes almost 18 years involvement in the law enforcement and physical security industry, stemming from the young age of 14.
Her last position in corporate America was at Janus Capital Group in Cherry Creek, managing their global Physical Security and Safety Department including a staff of 17 contract security personnel and a command center with high end technology. After 4 ½ years with the company and the completion of the new headquarters, Amy's position was eliminated, at which time she left corporate America and became a Residential Realtor.
Amy has been a Realtor for 5 years and in that time, has helped a great number of families with their real estate needs. Soon after obtaining her Real Estate license, Amy earned her SRES designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist,) enhancing her expertise in being able to work with a variety of family residential needs, i.e. age 50+, downsizing, retirement communities, and working with those responsible for an estate or trust. Scott was born and raised in Southern California, but couldn't wait to go to college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He graduated with a BSBA (Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration) in Business Management. He was one of 30 people selected nationally to Sears National Executive Training Program. This took him back to LA, but he really wanted to move to Colorado.
After befriending the HR rep for Denver, he was able to secure a job at the Cherry Creek Sears in January 1999. Other professional experience includes a Production Manager for a software company, back-office support for a physical security company, and recently came from the banking industry as a Branch Manager at WAMU.
These positions gave him the basis and desire to own his own business and when the time was right, and after 5 years at the bank, he joined Amy's business also as a Residential Realtor. With Scott's diverse background, he is able to add much value to his client's and their real estate needs. Scott also became a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) to better help those homeowners looking for alternatives to foreclosure. Whether they are having trouble now or know that challenges are around the corner, Scott can help navigate these challenging times.
